Today was last “official” workout with Nico. It was a good one. Shoulders, back, and arms. Five hours later and I’m getting sore. LOVE IT!! He said that he might be back in Reno next weekend and would be willing to workout with me again. That’s a nice thing to offer.
Summer is over and I’m very happy with my results from the training. I lost 13 pounds of fat and gained 7 pounds of muscle in two months.
I’m very nervous about keeping up this routine when school starts next week and with a new trainer. It has to work. I don’t really have a choice if I’m going to stay on track for my goal to be in competition form by Aug 2012. Can’t do everything in the summer.
Sadly, or not so sadly, I’m giving up the running of the 5K goal. I’ll do the 5K, but I’m not sure I’ll be able to run the whole thing. Feet are messed up. Breathing technique sucks. But the weight training is going along wonderfully. Love it. Some girls like the yoga thing – I love lifting. Really love it. I think I’ve said that already.Let's connect! Follow me on social media:
